WEEK 1: Cutting and grinding techniques using practise glass. Planning
and drawing out your design (bearing in mind that simple is best for
beginners) decide to use copper foil or traditional leading methods,
then choose your glass from a wide variety of colours and textures.
WEEK 2: Complete any work on your design. Begin cutting the glass. Shape the pieces to fit using the grinder.
WEEK 3, 4 & 5: Continue to work on your project. Cutting and grinding the glass pieces to shape. Fitting the pieces together using lead came or copper foil. Soldering the piece together.
WEEK 6: Finishing your work. Cementing, applying patina, cleaning and polishing.
Come along and learn new skills, meet new friends and create your own pieces of stained glass art. Cost includes all glass, materials and equipment required.
Classes must booked in advance and have a maximum of 4 participants to allow for plenty of individual attention.
14—15 year olds are very welcome, but must be accompanied by and adult taking part in the course.

The shop is on the main street which runs through
Stonehaven town centre. There is pay per stay parking available at
Market Square (2 minutes walk away), there is also parking on
neighbouring streets, however, please be aware of parking restrictions.
