Mearns Art House - Summer 2024
3 Session Glass School
Make a selection of fabulous fused glass art pieces over 3 sessions, each lasting 2 hours and 30 mins.
This class is suitable for those aged 12 years+ (Adults welcome)
Cost £70pp includes all materials required for each project.
Projects will include an S curve candle shade of your own design,

a tile using a tie-dye technique which then will be slumped in to a bowl or drape vase.

A sgraffito hanging panel, along with a cute wee bird hanger.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners. The sessions are aimed at those aged 12 - 16 years, adults are very welcome.
Over the three sessions, you/your child will learn the basics of glass fusing and the health & safety measures involved. How to cut and clean pieces of glass safely, how to use glass powders to create various designs.
Protective equipment will be provided - dust masks - safety glasses - diposable gloves.
